The orientation program is designed to help prepare you for your studies at the University of Adelaide.

Orientation on campus

Before each study period, the University hosts an Orientation schedule to help new students adapt to their studies.

For general information about Orientation, you can check the University's Orientation website.

O'Week (Orientation Week) takes place in the week immediately preceding each Semester, and is full of activities and information sessions for new students. You can see the schedule for the upcoming O'Week on the Orientation website.

International Student Orientation takes place several days before the general O'Week. Your first stop upon arriving at the University should be the International Student Welcome Centre in Hub Central, North Terrace campus. Orientation for Semester 1 2018 begins from Wednesday 14 February 2018, and continues with the University's general O'Week in the following week.

For more information about international student Orientation for Semester 1 2018, please see the international student Orientation timetable.

Online orientation

The University has prepared a series of Online Orientation modules for commencing students. This interactive resource contains a lot of important, informative, and interesting information, and we recommend that all new students complete these modules prior to arriving at the University.
